PACKAGE TERMS & CONDITIONS: It is our policy to present the cost of our holidays inclusive of all airport and government charges. Please accept however that these charges are not within our control, therefore we reserve the right to pass on any increase. Travel agent professional service fees where charged, will be additional to the advertised prices. Valid for sales to 31 Mar 2026. Pricing includes accommodation and Alamo Compact car rental as noted plus a self-drive pack consisting of detailed itinerary, driving instructions, maps, hotel vouchers, local information & backpack. Sightseeing, admissions, ferries, tolls, petrol and parking costs are not included. Accommodation is based on pre-allocated hotels, a list of these hotels is available from your travel agent. In some instances, a substitute property of a similar standard may be used during high demand periods or for operations reasons. Any additional cost for this, if any, will be advised to you at time of confirmation. In some instances, upgraded accommodation options may be available, please ask your travel agent for details. All itineraries can be tailor made to meet your specific requirements, please ask your travel agent for pricing. Self Drive itineraries are operated by American Tours International and are subject to their specific terms, conditions and cancellation policies. Alamo Car Rental: Car rental is based on a one way rental with Alamo picking up/dropping off a Intermediate car at Airport or downtown depots. Rental Requirements: - A valid full driver's license and passport from country of origin must be presented at time of rental. Provisional licenses, 'learner's permit' or digital driver's licenses will not be accepted. - Any additional and young drivers must meet the same requirements. - Renters are required to have at least one major credit card in their name to provide credit card authorisation. Deposit will not be held. Credit cards accepted: American Express, Mastercard, VISA, and Discover Network. - At some locations bank debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo may be accepted for such charges with a substantial minimum debit. Additional fees may apply, please check in advance. - A major credit card will be required at time of checkout for any other charges not included in the prepaid program, e.g. fuel service, Roadside Assistance Plus/Roadside Protection (RAP/RSP), infant/child safety seats, one-way service fees and taxes. - Debit/Check cards are considered to be any non-credit card bearing the VISA, Mastercard or Discover logo and are accepted at Corporate airport locations in the United States. Pre-paid cards or any other non-credit card without one of these logos are not accepted. Non-embossed cards are accepted. - To use a Debit/Check card proof of a confirmed round trip travel ticket (airline, cruise ship or train) must be presented. Travel dates on the round trip travel ticket must match rental dates. Without proof of roundtrip ticket, debit or check cards are only accepted as a form of payment at time of return. On one way rentals, renter must present proof of a confirmed travel ticket matching the pick-up and return locations (airline, cruise ship or train). - Some locations may restrict vehicle classes permitted with a debit card. - Cash will not be accepted at any location. - Alamo reserves the right to refuse any request for rental, including requests for persons underage, persons not in possession of a recognized full and valid driver's license, persons unable to satisfy credit card requirements, or persons who, in the opinion of Alamo, constitute an unacceptable accident risk. - Renters without a ticketed return travel itinerary will be required to provide a deposit in addition to estimated charges for the rental. Estimated charges include any charges not covered by the Voucher/E-Voucher. The following deposit amounts are required: * USD400.00 per rental or * USD850.00 per rental for the following vehicles classes: Performance Sport, Full Size Luxury SUV, Electric Luxury SUV, Full Size Elite Electric Sedan, Midsize Sport Luxury Sedan, Full Size Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury Sedan, Electric Luxury Sedan, Premium Luxury SUV, Extended Luxury SUV, Limo Van, and Corvette. Rate Inclusions: - Unlimited Mileage. - Sales Tax. - State Taxes. - Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). - Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP). - Airport Fees (if applicable). Rate Exclusions: - Fuel: a fuel service charge will be incurred if a car is returned with less fuel than when it was rented, if the fuel purchase option is declined at the time of rental. - Additional driver fees. - Young Driver fees. - One way fees. - Any optional additional insurances. - Any optional items such as Child Safety Seats or Ski Racks. - Location surcharges: Surcharges may apply at certain locations. Fueling Policy: - Renter may return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel or pre-pay for a full tank of fuel at the time of rental at the rate provided at the renting location. If the Renter selects the pre-paid fuel option, no refunds will be given for unused fuel. If the Renter does not return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel or select the pre-paid fuel option, the Renter will be charged to return the fuel tank to full at a rate provided at the location to which the vehicle is returned. Intercity Fees (One Way Rentals): - InterCity Fees are determined by mileage (unless otherwise specified below), subject to car group availability and require prior confirmation by Alamo. All InterCity Fees are subject to local taxes, to be paid locally. Prices shown are based on per person costs in New Zealand Dollars, for payment by cash, cheque or eftpos only. Credit card sales not permitted unless Travel Agent acts as a merchant. Capacity limitations apply and may not be available on all services. Events beyond our control such as currency fluctuations and changes to the price of aviation fuel may result in prices variations . Packages are based on consecutive nights.
