Our Services

Our Operations Division consists of four specialists who are totally dedicated to assisting The Travel Brokers. This includes Commission Claiming, Advertising/Marketing, Administration and general day to day Travel Management.

Accounting
All client accounts are transacted across the Tramada Management System which is a web-based system which interacts with the Amadeus GDS. Tramada also offers an excellent Client Profile, Itinerary, Invoicing and Receipting process.

Advertising / Marketing
We offer all The Travel Brokers a personal website and an E-Newsletter Template. Facebook & LinkedIn.

AD Travel & Familiarization Travel
Industry discounts and familiarization excursions are available.

Airfare Support & E-Ticketing
Airfare support is available via the Smart-Tickets division and you have free access to the airfares web site for your airfare inquiries. News updates and highlights are forwarded via email & the airfares database daily.

Communication with the Travel Broker Team
Regular Regional Meetings are held throughout the country for all Travel Brokers, along with an Annual Conference and other activities. A “Newsbroker” web-based site carries a range of information, news and views, plus we have the Chat Room.

IT & Technology
Installation of Amadeus and Tramada are handled for you and there is an IT operator who can assist with general enquiries. However, any IT maintenance would be carried out by either your own Computer contacts locally or we can recommend a contracter.

Computer Software
Using existing licensing agreements we can organise the purchase or lease of software such as Microsoft Office. It will be important for Travel Brokers to have Microsoft Word, Excel, and Acrobat for attachments, access to the Internet and obviously Email Messaging.

Computer Hardware
The following is minimum specifications for computers to run efficiently when using Focal Point Net :

Always buy a named brand computer preferably:

• Desktop Computers: HP, Lenovo or Dell.
• Laptop Computers: Toshiba, Acer, HP, Lenovo, Dell or Sony.

Specifications:
Hardware

• Pentium Core 2 Duo, AMD or Celeron 1.6GHz or higher.
• 512MB RAM but 1GB preferred.
• CD-ROM, CD Writer or DVD- ROM drives.
• 10/100MBps network interface
• Must have at least 2 USB ports (these can be located either in the front of the computer box or at the back).
• The monitor is up to you to decide, the most favourable is 17” LCD flat screen (easier on the eyes).

Software

• Operating system must be Windows XP Home or Professional service pack 2 o higher.
• Microsoft office Small Business, Professional 200, XP 2003 or 2007 OR 2010. (This will include Word, Excel, Outlook Power point etc.).
• Adobe Acrobat Reader – Download the latest version for free.
• An Anti-Virus software preferably Norton Anti-Virus or Nod32.

Installation and Setup
Installation of Amadeus and Tramada is handled for you.

CRS
We use the Amadeus CRS system “Vista” & “Symphony”. This is a web based system with up to the minute functionality! Any training necessary is free of charge.

Stationery
Branded stationery inclusive of letterhead, compliment slips, itinerary / voucher covers would be on a user pays basis. Business cards are free of charge.

Key Business Relationships
The Travel Brokers are requested to use our preferred suppliers wherever possible.

A full commission list will be provided during your induction.

Training
Training is available with Smartfares and Travel Brokers are invited to participate. Our preferred suppliers also run training sessions when presenting at Regional Meetings. Amadeus training is provided on a request basis.

Travel Documentation
There is a regular mail-out of GO Product brochures and G-Flyer special links are emailed regularly for all the GO 'hot deals'. There is also the www.goholidays.co.nz website. Travel documents and tickets are mainly E-documents and are distributed on a daily basis.
